Bridge anchorage castings

Bridge anchorage castings are a key component used in bridge structures. They are usually made of materials such as cast iron or cast steel and are formed through a casting process. Our factory produces ductile iron bridge anchors with rich experience and exquisite craftsmanship.

Function

• Anchoring function:It is the anchor point of the bridge cable system (such as main cables, inclined cables, etc.). The tension of the cable is transmitted to the main structure of the bridge through the anchor casting to ensure that the cable can stably pull the bridge and prevent the bridge from displacement or deformation. For example, in a self-anchored suspension bridge, cast steel anchors are used as anchor castings to anchor the divergent main cable strands. The main cable diverges into a single cable strand in an approximately conical shape after passing through the cable saddle or cable sleeve. The cable strand passes through the anchor hole and is anchored with an anchor nut.
• Dispersed pressure: It can evenly disperse the concentrated tension of the cable to the foundation or other supporting structures of the bridge to avoid structural damage caused by excessive local pressure. For example, in large cable-stayed bridges, anchor castings can disperse the tension of the cable to the bridge tower or beam, making the force on the bridge tower and beam more uniform, improving the safety and stability of the structure.
• Positioning and limiting: It plays the role of positioning and limiting, ensuring that the various parts of the bridge are deformed and displaced within the designed position and range, and ensuring the integrity and stability of the bridge structure. Taking the suspension bridge as an example, the anchor casting can limit the lateral and longitudinal displacement of the main cable, so that the main cable remains in the designed position, thereby ensuring the structural safety of the suspension bridge.
• Connection and transition: As a link connecting different parts of the bridge, it realizes a reliable connection between the cable and the main structure of the bridge, and plays a transitional role between different materials or different structural forms. For example, in some mixed structure bridges, anchor castings can connect the cable of the steel structure with the beam or bridge tower of the concrete structure, so that the two structures of different materials can work together.
